CARO wants to make sure all Trial Hosts and Judges are up to date on our current trial application requirements. Please review the notes below before applying for or confirming a trial.
📝 Trial Applications
- All trials must be applied for through the CARO website.
- Trial dates cannot be held without a submitted trial application — please don’t rely on informal holds or verbal agreements.
💳 Application Fees
Effective August 1, 2026, trial application fees are non-refundable.
If a club encounters extenuating circumstances, please contact Trial Approvals to discuss whether reasonable accommodations may be possible.
👩⚖️ Judge Confirmation Deadlines
- Hosts applying well in advance may list their judge as TBD.
- However, judges must be confirmed at least 8 weeks before the trial date, or the application will be denied.
