The CARO Board is excited to announce a pilot project for ring sizes smaller than 1500 square feet. We recognise that finding suitable venues — especially when outdoor trials aren’t practical — can be challenging. To improve accessibility, from January 1 to July 1, 2026, trial hosts wishing to use smaller venues may submit a written request to the Board for approval.
Approval must be granted before applying for a trial. Your proposal should include:
- Reasoning for using a smaller venue
- Ring dimensions
- Flooring type
- Any obstructions in or near the ring (posts, storage, etc.)
This pilot allows CARO to explore flexible options while maintaining safety and quality for competitors and dogs.
